Privacy Policy for Cozy Social Lounge: Meet & Talk Last updated: February 2026 Overview Cozy Social Lounge: Meet & Talk (“the App”) is a multiplayer social VR experience developed and published by Ali Kaan BASHAN. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Data We Collect The App uses Meta Horizon platform features and online multiplayer features. Depending on what you use in the App, the App may receive and process limited data: 1) Meta Horizon User Data User ID / Oculus User ID (a unique identifier provided by Meta) 2) Multiplayer / Networking Data (real-time only) To connect you to a shared room and synchronize players in real time, the App may process: Session / lobby / room information (e.g., room ID, connection state) Basic gameplay sync data (e.g., avatar/head/hand positions, animations, interactions) This data is used for real-time communication and is not stored by us on external servers. 3) Voice Chat Data (if enabled) If the App includes voice chat, it may use a third-party voice service (for example, Vivox) to provide voice communication. In this case: Voice audio is transmitted to enable live voice chat. The voice service may process technical data needed to operate the voice feature (such as service identifiers, connection and diagnostic data) according to the provider’s policies. The developer does not record or store your voice audio. 4) Local On-Device Data (not sent to us) The App may store basic settings locally on your headset for functionality, such as: audio/volume settings, language, comfort options, UI preferences, last used options This data remains on-device. How We Use Data We use the above data only to: Provide and maintain multiplayer social functionality (joining rooms, showing other users, synchronizing the experience) Enable platform functionality required by the App (identifying the current user through Meta platform calls) Provide voice chat functionality (if enabled) Improve stability and fix bugs (using non-identifying technical diagnostics when available) Data Sharing / Third Parties The App does not sell your personal data. The App does not share your personal data with advertisers. The App may rely on third-party services strictly to operate core features: Meta platform services (account identity, platform features) Voice service provider (only if voice chat is enabled) Hosting / server provider (only for real-time multiplayer connectivity) These providers may process limited data to deliver their services, according to their own privacy policies. Data Retention The developer does not store your User ID, gameplay sync data, or voice audio on our own servers. Any locally stored settings remain on your device and can be removed as described below. Data Deletion Requests Although the App does not store user data on external servers, you may request deletion assistance or information by contacting the developer. To remove the App’s locally stored data, you can uninstall the App or clear the App’s storage via device settings.
